James Beard Spectacular Restaurateur, Tom Douglas, hosts his annual 5 daytime culinary summer camp inside Seattle from July 7 through 11 come early july. The camp is held in the Palace Restaurant, in the shadow belonging to the Seattle Space Needle.

Tom Douglas Culinary Summer Camp is good for the true food devotee. The actual camp runs for 5 days and nights, jam-packed with hands-on cooker demos, field trips, preferences and beverage pairings, along with contests.

We consume and drink, then we eat and drink a lot more, and then we do it once again! says Douglas.

Culinary Summer Camp may be a 5 day event that arises in Seattle, a city that has been recently described by Anthony Bourdain within an episode of The Layover because the best and most interesting food scene in the usa. Periodunlike any place better.

Each day features a wealth of eating as well as drinking, but it equally includes cooking demonstrations together with accompanying food and refreshment tastings, hands on baking, field trips, and most of all, intimate access to reputable chefs and cook book authors which would otherwise be difficult to achieve.
