The Irish Julep (makes 1)

6 mint makes

ounce about simple syrup

oz of water

crushed Ice

1. 5 oz . of Jameson Irish Whiskey

whiff of Averna Amaro

Garnish:

1 mint sprig

Step A single:

Muddle mint finds, simple syrup, and water inside of a highball glass.

Step Couple of:

Add crushed cool and Jameson Irish Whiskey

Step 3:

Float Averna Amaro top most and garnish with mint sprig.

Notes:

  • For those who dont have a photo glass handy, 1 ounces is 2 tablespoons
  • Simple Syrup recipe: Blend together 1 cup carbs and 1 cup waters in saucepan. Bring for the boil. Stir over medium heat for one to three minutes until sugar dissolves. Neat. Store in jar inside refrigerator. Make any quantity you would like, using equal parts connected with sugar to water.
