I was debating where you should go for dinner together with drinks with friends so that you can celebrate my birthday and additionally settled on Townhouse on Harbor East. I'd observed mixed reviews; some said that this was really loud but of the fact that food was good. Those reviews were i'm all over this.
We went at happy hour about the Friday evening and Townhouse was basically packed. They tried to seat us from a table right by your bar, but we'd basically be screaming at one. We asked for some sort of quieter space; we first got it, but it was certainly still loud.
We ordered several options from happy hour menu. The four large pretzel sticks were amazing and for that reason were the four carnitas. The happy hour aspect sizes were so ample that marilyn and i didn't even need towards order entrees. I equally had the Eden, a good gin drink with unclear strawberries, basil, and ginger, that we liked but probably would not order again. (I wanted more strawberries but just got a large amount of basil. )
My friend Mandi and I decided which we needed to split the actual butter cake, which Townhouse known for. It was tasty; the manager came by way of and Mandi could less than speak because she was enjoying it a whole lot.
Unfortunately, my friends Katharine as well as Brianna ordered the bacon doughnuts so they disappointed. Rather than glazed having crumbled bacon and ice-cubes cream, the doughnuts were coated in a odd bacon-flavored powder. These people smelled burnt and surprisingly tasted pretty awful. +1 intended for butter cake, -1 regarding bacon doughnuts.
Overall, Townhouse can be a fun place to opt for friends for happy lesson, but I wouldn't invest in a romantic dinner. And I ACTUALLY wouldn't order the moolah doughnuts.
