It has become a 2010 summer full of task, travel, and escape. The last few days in Bay area has proven that were are smack part way through summer. We are feeling the fog as a result of our feet. The morning sheds light in the apparent rain from yesterday evening. However, it wasn't elements. It was the rainy fog. These days are ideal for baking.
Both connected with my children have summertime birthdays. Baking multiple cakes is required for every one of the birthday parties we possess. It seems a touch much. It is. However a whole lot fun! I love generating favorite simple birthday cakes. The best photo in the slideshow can be a quick cake I created the morning of my personal daughter's actual birthday. We moved this past year and I couldn't find any one my piping tips. So I just put into use a 1/8" circle tip for the complete cake. I was really distraught. It turned through pretty cute, though.

Vanilla Birthday bash Cake
Yield: two 9" circular image cakes for layering
Ingredients
6 every single egg yolks, 3. 5 oz
8. 5 fla oz whole milk
3 tsp vanilla extract
3 mugs all-purpose flour, 10. 5 oz
1. 5 mugs sugar, 10. 5 oz

Preparation
- Combine fruit juice ingredients. Reserve.
- Combine dried out ingredients. Mix nicely. Add butter and mix until sandy and also in texture.
- Slowly include liquid on medium rate. Mix until completely divesified.
- Bake in a few 9" parchment & oiled griddles at 350 degrees P for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool thoroughly before turning out in addition to frosting.
