Strawberries are wonderful utilized in strawberry shortcake, but a strawberry pie is a wonderful way to take pleasure from fresh strawberries.

This recipe is reasonably easy to prepare along with a graham cracker crust works extremely well in place of any flour pie crust. Much like most strawberry recipes, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and peaches may be used in place of strawberries.

French Blood Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cooked pie crust
  • 1 pkg. solution cheese (softened)
  • 2 BIG T. heavy cream
  • 1 quart innovative strawberries (washed, hulled & sliced)
  • 1 m. white sugar
  • 3 TO. cornstarch
  • Whipped topping

Directions:

In normal size bowl, combine cream cheese along with heavy cream until soft. Carefully spread cream mozzarella cheese mixture on bottom regarding pie crust.

In a good saucepan place, strawberries, sugar and cornstarch for pan and heat through low heat stirring often prior to the mixture heats up. Continue on cooking and stirring till sugar is dissolved plus mixture starts to thicken. Take out from heat and now let cool. Place in wine cooling unit until strawberries are wintry. Spread strawberries over curry, then refrigerate at the bare minimum 1 hour before serving size. Serve with whipped leading.
