When we make pizza out in the great Southwest, we don't depend upon sloppy tomato sauce, mounds of cheese and meats of numerous types. We prefer to enjoy the pure flavors of Our mother earth and then add several our famed spices. Pizza have to be enjoyed, not flopped into the mouth area and shoved down a throat.

For this approach very special pizza, we also try a different dough. This dough will incorporate some body to it and you will be a pleasure to torpedo your teeth into. It is not a so-called "deep-dish" sort of pizza but in addition, the crust is not to thin it falls apart at the time you pick it up.

It is an easy topping of roasted garlic clove, red pepper flakes, eco-friendly onions, chili powder and olive oil -- these all are the flavors from the Southwest. Ingredients was required to make Southwest Roasted Garlic oil Pizza (serves 4):

  • 2 1/4 keyrings flour
  • 2 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. yeast
  • 1 The best spinner's. sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups of warm water
  • 1 travel garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. inflammed pepper flakes
  • 2 efficient onions, minced
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • olive oil (amount will depend on your taste)

Steps:

  1. Pre-heat ones own oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. In a huge bowl, stir the flour, cornstarch. sodium, yeast. sugar and warm water until there is a dough.
  3. Remove the dough to the floured surface and rub 5 minutes. It might be a rather sticky dough.
  4. Place the dough in the bowl, cover and let rise 1 hour.
  5. Slice off the crown (top) from the garlic.
  6. Place the garlic on some of foil and drizzle that garlic with some oil. Wrap the garlic tightly with the foil.
  7. Place the garlic in the oven and roast the item 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the garlic from oven and squeeze out the cloves utilizing your finger.
  9. Place the cloves in to a medium bowl and mash them right paste. Into the bowl combine the red pepper flakes and enough oil to make the collaboration spreadable.
  10. Increase the temperature in the oven to 425 certifications.
