What was first your purpose in generating this group?
While very first purpose was simply to create together the local vegetarians as well as vegans, it has converted into our current mandate: Provide a community regarding local vegetarians and vegans and educate your public about advantages of some plant-based diet.

The Chicago Veggie Pride Parade is actually our biggest event and it requires lots of work by the overall team of selfless volunteers who specialize in making a difference on this planet. However, any of your monthly events, whether they can be educational or simply wonderful, are really important to assist the community. I personally quite definitely enjoy our summer "potluck-and-volleyball-on-the-beach" situations.
