I was actually, really excited to have your dinner at TEN TEN through Harbor East for a birthday. I've heard amazing reasons for having the Bagby Group restaurants and possess interviewed the CEO, but I hadn't been to in either of the restaurants.
The build up is beautiful; the Bagby building was first once a furniture factory and lots of the details were maintained for TEN TEN's design. I didn't like the way in which close we were in the table next to united states, but it was empty for almost all of our dinner.
Steve and additionally I started with software; I had the tasty beet salad and loved understand the greens came within the Smith's (TEN TEN's owners) farm building in Hunt Valley.
Steve ordered the source beer-braised pork shank along with sunchoke puree, roasted celery, chervil, and braising jus. The pork literally fell away from the bone; the bone seemed to be completely clean when your dog finished. He also got a side of roasting yams, which were beautifully sweet. I went using a special, the pan-seared Rockfish with wild rice inside of a seafood broth with infant bok choy. I called for my fish grilled and it also was beautiful and wonderful.
The drinks ended up being hit and miss for american. My strawberry puree cocktail was too sweetI couldn't even conclude it. Steve had a gin drink that somehow were able to hide the strong blend of gin; he required another.
Dessert was first definitely a highlight. We the hazelnut bombe, that wasthat's a hazelnut-flavored cake by using a layer of chocolate over the top and on the backside. The hazelnut flavor was initially perfect; I would have loved a more impressive piece, but I came down to satisfied. Steve went along with the banana cake and loved it despite the fact that he's not a enormous dessert person.
Service seemed to be fantastic, as well. It was our server's first week and there was no idea until she told us at the conclusion of dinner. She has been knowledgeable and patiently satisfied my questions and asks for.
We loved the dinner at TEN 10. Aside from the a drink, every thing that all of us ordered was beyond our exceptions I await going to TEN TEN again and looking into Fleet Street Kitchen, a second Bagby restaurant, next entry.
