It is just a perfect treat whether taking a look at the Kentucky Derby, enjoying an ideal brunch or putting with a spectacular ending to an awesome barbecue.

Ingredients required to make Kentucky Derby Mint Julep Sorbet (makes 4):

  • 1/2 pot bourbon, very cold
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Steps:

  1. In a low to medium bowl combine and whisk the ingredients.
  2. Pour the particular ingredients into an snowing conditions cream machine and churn 20 moments.
  3. Spoon the mixture in to a freeze-proof container and freeze around 12 hours before helping.

Chef's Note: You may create your own sugar syrup by combining equal amounts sugar and water right saucepan and cooking the item under medium heat before the sugar has dissolved and therefore the water is clear. Get rid of the pan from the temperatures and let cool so that you can room temperature.
