Having never had in either of the beers from this brewery, the 420 Extra Pale Ale is known as a pleasant surprise. This Western Coast styled pale beer is perfectly balanced. The flavor & aroma characters normally affiliated with West Coast style beers are mixed together & in proper quantity. In fact, they are very near the edge of a fine IPA. Great beer to do this very hot Summer evening. Oddly enough, this beer is not really from California or also Washington. It is brewed & bottled in Sweet Water's facilities during Atlanta, Ga.

This beer is brewed accompanied by a simple grain build; 2-row, 40L & Munich. The hops are those traditionally expected belonging to the West Coast; Centennial & Cascade. Joined, the flavor can be termed lightly malty with a new decisive citrus hop appearance. With Silver Medals from both GABF and World Beverage Cup, it is hard to argue the grade of this beer.
