On my endless quest to find fast foods that actually taste excellent and aren't too crunchy, I found The Good Bean and their brand of roasted chickpea snacks plus bars.

The Good Bean is designed with a line of roasted chickpea goodies in four flavors (Sea Sodium, Cracked Pepper, Smoky Soup & Lime, and Sweet Cinnamon) that boast healthful degrees of fiber (6 grams) and even protein (7 grams). And also they offer three flavors of bars produced from the same chickpeas on three flavors (Apricot Coconut, Chocolate bars Berry, and Fruit & Seed-stock Trail Mix).

According in the company, their snacks and bars are produce of a special variety involving chickpeas, called Desi chickpeas that may contain less fat, more health proteins, and three times just as much fiber as regular chickpeas. This can be all great news to me and my waistline, but whenever they taste you consult?

These crunchy 'beans' weren't as crunchy when i expected. They are agency, but not brittle, in which my jaw definitely treasured. My favorite flavor stands out as the Sea Salt, followed closely by way of the Cracked Pepper, then typically the Sweet Cinnamon, and and finally the Smoky Chili & Limescale. I felt the lovely cinnamon and smoky soup & lime flavors covered the chickpeas that has a shell of flavor that broke away when you first took a bite and therefore flavor could be difficult from bite to nibble. The flavor for the ocean salt and cracked pepper was firmly followed each chickpea and these people were incredibly satisfying.

The bars were a miss for me. All three flavors previously had very distinct textures that differed to suit one's flavor. The bars will be soft, but to us, the berry chocolate flavor was a touch too chewy, the fruit & plant seeds trail mix flavor ended up being somehow wet and sticky while doing so, but the apricot coconut flavor was perfect.

I enjoyed feeding on the roasted chickpeas right away from the bag, but they would develop a good topping for greens, as topping for yogurt (sweet cinnamon), or throw some in your favorite soups or cold salad. These items have yet to reach the East coast, but don't worry as you can order them online direct from company.
