May is with us, the grass requires a mow, the peppers and tomatoes has to be planted and I should get to the tanning saloon for the head start on a color.

But like a semi-professional gourmand I go out in to my lawn of happiness and I read the buds starting to flower and bees traveling coming from flower to flower. I need flowers. I love flour. I need both flour and blooms.

I use flour when ever Im baking, deep baking, making a roux or maybe sometimes I make glue from the jawhorse when Im out in Elmers. Flour is natures panacea for pretty much anything.

But how about flowers?

Some a flower bouquet are toxic, others could be edible in salads or used as the garnish. Others can be steeped into beverages, even distilled within wine. Im thinking dandelion or maybe rose hip wine. Or consider chilling out on entry porch with lavender-kissed hot lemonade?
Lavender Lemonade

1 The best spinner's. Fresh Lavender Buds

1 Pot Boiling Water

6 Cups of Freshly Squeezed Lemonade

Lemon Slices

Sprigs for Fresh Lavender.

Place lavender buds on the boiling water and vertical for 10 minutes. Pour water by using a cheese cloth in to some large pitcher. Stir lemonade straight to pitcher and fill using ice. Garnish with orange and lavender sprigs.

Watch through when eating wild blooms. Make sure there isn't any bee in the stamen earlier than sampling it. I hate when you do. Edible flowers have a nice color and can insert floral flavors to any sort of dish. But torn or insect damaged flowers are generally hazardous. Commercially sold flowers are sometimes sprayed with pesticides as well nasty stuff and taking pollen laced buds can cause allergic reactions.

And when i walk through my garden of sunshine I'm sure surrounded by edible dance. Violets for salads, increased hips for wine together with sunflowers for seeds.

Edible flowers is usually adventurous in the kitchen so they smell good too.

Then there's the zucchini blossom. The bright yellow bloom belonging to the zucchini plant that is famous inside my house. A Mediterranean treat, stuffed zucchini blossoms will be edible flowers that bring a luxurious wizardry to the family table. The only problem is they are difficult to get in the grocery retail store, they are very fragile and you will need a bunch of them. If you pick them outside the garden, you may not find yourself with any zucchini.

Deep Deep-fried Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms

1 Mug Flour

1 Cup Beer

Sea Salt/Freshly Soil Black Pepper

2 Ounce. Goat Cheese, Room Temp

1 Oz of. Cream Cheese, Softened

2 The best spinner's. Heavy Cream

1 Scallion, Minced

2 The best spinner's. Italian Seasoning

8-10 Zucchini Bouquets, Tops Cut and Signs Removed

Combine the flour, beer and salt and pepper inside of a bowl and whisk until you can find no lumps.

In a different bowl, combine the dairy products, cream and seasonings.

Fill each and every blossom gently with herbed mozerella mixture and gently ignore closed. Gently dip flower in your beer batter and possibly be gentle. This is a new gentle process.

Gently drop coated blossoms into a fryer basket in addition to gently fry for 1-2 moments.

Gently serve using marinara sauce or all the dressing.

Next time you happen to be in the kitchen, end and smell the carnations everybody.
