On August 10 Huffington Post reports that your new poll shows that Americans would rather that there be zero cuts or changes for you to food stamps as continues to be reported to be developing in October. Unless something may be accomplished before Oct. 1 many families will likely be without food money to support them get from per month.
Currently, there are over 47 million dollars Americans that currently receive food stamps month for month. That is roughly 15 percent within the American population. Unsurprisingly, republicans include the responsible party for wanting some of the most cuts to the cost. Not only would that they be cutting food stamps though the farm bill too that goes in hand with the SNAP technique.
Currently 21 percent off Americans have or know someone which includes needed food stamps. Should the senate does make shapes to SNAP benefits, it'll save $20 million across 10 years. Cutting the farm bill would save a different $4 million over 10 years in the process. If the cuts were created, there would be $2 million Americans that are going to lose benefits. Most of them being the elderly, and the great without children.
If any farm bill gets reduce, specifically, to help complete the deficit, then farmers will suffer a large portion with the money the government pays those to help grow crops as well as feed their stock that will feed the American consumers. Ultimately, these cuts could mean less food to get for everyone, not just the ones receive food stamps.
