Have a person discovered something nasty floating nside your child's Capri Sun just lately? Fungus in Capri Sun pouches may be making a big splash on social networking networks, with grossed-out parents placing photos of mold around the popular juice drinks.

However, Kraft, the producer of Capri Sun, assures worried people who these drinks aren't hazardous.

Since Capri Sun doesn't need preservatives, mold can grow in a very pouch that's leaking, or one with microscopic gaps.

Researchers at In State University recently punctured Capri Solar pouches, then left them in a very sterile environment to study final results. After three weeks, the open pouches begun to grow fungal mats.

Head analyst Kathleen Dannelly says this although off-putting, technically the fungus with Capri Sun isn't dangerous to many people consumers.

Dannelly is quoted within the Christian Science Monitor announcing, "Probably, those of us all with healthy immune platforms, we could even take that, and that wouldnt deemed a problem. "

She highlights, though, that consumers is better served purchasing and consuming drinks stated in see-through packaging.

Kraft currently doesn't have any plans to change all the Capri Sun packaging, plus advises consumers to dispose of leaky or torn pockets.
