Ingredients needed in making Southwest Candied Bacon (makes 1 pound):

  • 1 single lb . bacon

Steps:

  7. Place another baking sheet throughout the foil (yes, it is going to be sitting on the bacon).

  9. Remove from the actual oven.
  10. Carefully take away the bacon from the breadpan and let sit around 10 minutes before consuming.

Chef's Note: For the bacon cools, it will become crispy a result of the sugar coating solidifying.
